We are pleased to share with you that Sang Joo Kim and Synja P Kim were among the invited guests of
The Board of Trustees and Officers of the Heritage Foundation at The Ninth Annual B C Lee Lecture and
Dinner this evening in Washington, D C. Also invited were Susan Bradford, Hae Jo Chae, Hwa Kyung Chae,
Libby Darwin, John Q Duong, Mark Grobmyer, Julia K Han, Sunny Han, Dave Kim, Il Hwan Kim, Joyce Kim,
Sara Roth and Mina Yi-Merizalde. It was held at the grand ballroom of the Park Hyatt Hotel.
The lecturer was The Hon Richard G Lugar (R-IN; Chairman, U S Senate Committee on Foreign Relations),
and he delivered an address "Changing Events on The Korean Peninsula".
The previous B C Lee Lecturers were The Hon Henry Kissinger (1995), The Hon Jesse Helms (1996),
The Hon Benjamin Gilman (1997), The Hon Donald Rumsfeld (1998), The Hon Edwin Meese III (1999),
The Hon Paul Wolfowitz (2000), The Hon Doug Bereuter (2001) and The Hon Henry Hyde (2002).
And, ICAS has been a guest since the inauguration.
