The Hon Curt Weldon*#

United States House of Representatives

*Congressman Weldon just came back from his fact-finding mission to North Korea including a meeting with Nam Sun Paek, North Korea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and provided Secretary of State Colin Powell with a ten-point plan and a detailed briefing about his experience. The plan, said to have been "received by the North Korean officials with great enthusiasm", reportedly contains " new approaches to easing the tensions of the Korean peninsula and laying the foundation to normalizing relations between the two nations."
