We are pleased to share with you that George Ikeda will address the ICAS Summer Symposium: The Korean Diaspora.

George Ikeda was born, grew up in California and incarcerated in Relocation center (concentration camp) in Poston, Arizona from July 1942 until leaving for Philadelphia in June 1944. Subsequently, he worked in the Philadelphia and Allentown area until retiring in 1986. George received BS in Engineering from Rutgers University in 1958.

He has been a tireless champion throughout his entire life advancing a civic development and a place for Asian-Americans. George is married with two sons, two daughters and six grandchildren.
