We are pleased to share with you that Raphael Francis Perl will present "Protecting United States Currency: The Case of North Korea" at the ICAS Winter Symposium 2006.

Raphael Perl is the senior policy analyst for terrorism, narcotics, and crime with the Congressional Research Service (CRS) of the Library of Congress. A graduate of Georgetown University's Foreign Service and Law Schools, he is the author of well over a hundred congressional and academic publications including Terrorism, and National Security (CRS 2005), Drug Control, International Policy and Options (CRS 2005), and Drug Trafficking and North Korea: Issues for U.S. Policy (CRS 2005).

Raphael speaks regularly at academic institutions and governmental policy fora and has testified before Congress on terrorism, drug, and crime issues. He is currently preparing a report for Congress on North Korean counterfeiting.

Other confirmed speakers include Kathryn Weathersby (Senior Associate, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars).
