Violinist

to perform
in honour of

Ambassador Tae Sik Lee


Dear Friend:

We are pleased to share with you that Shannon Lee will perform in honour of Ambassador Tae Sik Lee who will be Guest of Honour of the ICAS Annual Liberty Award Reception and Dinner at the Sheraton University City Hotel, Philadelphia, on December 7, 2007.

Violinist Shannon Lee received her degrees in performance from the Seoul National University in Seoul and Temple University in Philadelphia. Shannon has been the concertmaster of a number of orchestras including the Ohio Light Opera and the Seoul National University Orchestra. As a soloist, she has performed concertos with the KBS Symphony and the Seoul Chamber Orchestra among others. Shannon was the first prize winner of the Seoul National Music Competition and the Nanpa Violin Competition. She gave a solo recital at the Kyoto International Music Festival in Japan and was a performer at the Carnegie Hall 100th Anniversary Concert. Shannon currently plays with the Pennsylvania Ballet and number of other orchestras in the Philadelphia area.

Shannon will dedicate Liebesleid by F. Kreisler and Hungarian Dance No.1 by J. Brahms.
