Henny Savenije

ICAS Fellow



Dear Friend:

We are pleased to share with you that Henny Savenije has been named ICAS Fellow, effective immediately.

Henny studied mathematics and physics at the University Groningen and earned a doctorate in psychology and educational psychology from the University Groningen in the Netherlands and lives in Korea since 2000.

He worked at several Korean universities and has been doing many years of research on Korean history related with foreign western countries. Henny has distinguished himself with his sui generis work Hendrick Hamel, the "Discoverer" or Explorer (the Marco Polo) of Korea; 1653-0730-HxH; ICAS Historical Documents.
