We are pleased to share with you that Ji Hee Jeong will sing Bird, bird, bluebird arranged by Dong Sun Chae and "Quel guardo il cavaliere" from opera Don Pasquale by G.Donizetti in honour of Admiral Dennis Blair gracing the ICAS 2016 Annual Liberty Award Dinner.

Ji Hee Jeong, a Korean soprano, holds a Master of Music degree and a Bachelor of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music. Her primary teachers include Ruth Golden, Neil Rosenshein and Okjin Baek. Ji Hee was a member of the Composer’s Voice and gave the world premiere of Neighbors: The Yard Critters by David Morneau and has performed Danish Delights by Faye-Ellen Silverman at Symphony Space in New York City. Also, she was invited to perform for Korean American Scholarship Foundation and also sang for Institute for Corean-American Studies at the United States Congress in Washington DC 2015. Her operatic experience includes La Doriclea, The Beggar’s Opera (Mrs.Vixen) with MSM Senior Opera Theater. Scene work includes Le nozze di Figaro (Susanna), L’incoronazione di Poppea (Valletto), Turn of Screw (Flora), Pirates of Penzance (Edith) with Manhattan School of Music. As a chorister she has performed Mahler’s Second Symphony conducting by Kenneth Kiesler at Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York. She performed as a soloist in Haydn’s Die Schöpfung and Dubois’s The Seven Last Words of Christ. She has won prizes in the Honam Art competition, the National Music Competition and Korean News Competition. Her repetoir includes works by Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Strauss, Faure and Britten.
