Hetti S. Kang
Biographic Sketch

Born in Namhae Island, Korea, Hetti Kang immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. Extremely ambitious by nature, she was involved with many activities in high school including the city youth orchestra, community artist association, drama/musical group, academia society, and sports; in particular cheerleading and skiing. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology ('94) and Music with concentrations in piano and violin ('93) from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA.

Ms. Kang has served as a language translator and music director for many years in Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Baltimore area. She is currently working as an Information Technology programmer and consultant at Accenture. Ms. Kang has been an avid student in diverse study fields and is currently in transition between the Management and the Executive Master's in Technology Management programs at the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Kang has also served on the Board of Directors, worked as an Annual Campaign Assistant and a Web Master for the Tri-County Concerts Association (established in 1941) in the past three fiscal years. For over fifty years, the Tri-County Concerts Association has served the Chester, the Delaware, and the Montgomery County communities by fostering the performance and the appreciation of the highest quality solo and ensemble chamber music. Ms. Kang's passion for travel has taken her to Korea, Indonesia, Dominican Republic, England, Scotland, France, China, Iceland, Germany, and Austria to study diverse cultures and peoples in the past several years.
