Nikayla Kim
Nikayla Kim is 12 years old and 6th grader at Gwyn-Nor Elementary School in North Wales, Pennsylvania.
She was born in South Dakota and began to study violin at age 5. Nikayla has been growing up surrounded
by music since her mother is a musician and music has become part of her life, joy and challenges. A few
years ago, when she heard Gil Shaham play, she fell in love with his music and a charismatic technique.
Nikayla’s future plan is to become a great performer (violinist) like him.
