Mark Mohr

Mark Mohr is a retired career Foreign Service Officer, having worked for the State Department from 1969-1997. Mark was primarily a China-watcher, with postings to Beijing, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, but also served in Tokyo. After leaving the State Department, he was a consultant to the Department of Energy on North Korean non-proliferations issues. Mark was a Peace Corps Volunteer in South Korea in the late 1960s.

Mark left government service in June 2005. In November 2005, he began working at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, mainly working on China, Japan and Korea issues.
