We are pleased to share with you that Samsung Electronics Co. announced today that Jay Y Lee has been promoted to the position of vice president in the company's corporate strategic-planning office.
Jay is the only son, 32 -year-old, of Samsung Chairman Kun Hee Lee. In this position, he will focus on corporate governance and transparency issues and strategies to enhance shareholder value.
