Reception Celebrating Kazakhstan
April 15, 2010, Washington, DC. We are pleased to share with you that Chi Wan Kim and Sang Joo Kim were
invited guests yesterday, April 14 2010, to a reception celebrating "Kazakhstan: The Expedition of Chokan Valikhanov".
The party was held at Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard
and the gala was hosted by His Excellency Erlan A Idrissov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the
United States of America, under the patronage of His Excellency Nursultan Nazarbayev, The President of the
Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Ambassador (Idrissov, Erlan A.) was a featured speaker at the
ICAS 2008 Fall Symposium.
