We are pleased to share with you that Matthew Pottinger, Deputy National Security Advisor, has contributed to ICAS his remarks made to the Miller Center of the University of Virginia on May 4, 2020 in commemoration of the 101st anniversary of the start of China's historic May Fourth Movement.

Matt advanced that "[w]hen small acts of bravery are stamped out by governments, big acts of bravery follow" and quoted "[l]ies written in ink can never disguise facts written in blood".
