We are pleased to share with you that Hannah Kim has been appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs for Health Care, US Department of Health.

Her areas of responsibility and portfolio will cover Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Office of Health Reform, and Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).

Hannah will handle issues relating to Health Care, Health Equity, Medicaid, Medicare, Affordable Care Act, Marketplace, Open Enrollment/ Special Enrollment Period, Maternal Health, Drug Pricing, Pricing Transparency, Telehealth, Health Technology, and Provider Relief Fund.

She is the founder of Remember 727 honouring veterans of Korean War. She also was chief of staff of former Rep Charles Rangel of New York.

Hannah has been an ICAS Intern (www.icasinc.org/interns.html) since her days with George Washington University.
