We are pleased to share with you that Ryan Mingu Jang has been admitted to the Summer 2022 Internship of the Young Leaders Program of The Heritage Foundation. The Internship will run from May 16th through August 5th.

Ryan presented "George Washington, Cybersecurity, and US National Defense" at the ICAS 2015 Summer Symposium, "Opportunity Cost and Buyer's Remorse" at the ICAS 2017 Summer Symposium, "Sacred Duty: A Soldier's Tour at Arlington National Cemetery" at the ICAS 2019 Summer Symposium, "America's Founding Principles and Their Enduring Legacies" at the ICAS 2020 Summer Symposium, and "Atomic Habits" at the ICAS 2021 Summer Symposium, respectively.

Ryan has been a member of the ICAS Youth Excellence Program of the ICAS Youth Academy since 2015 (ICAS Leadership Training Conference).

The ICAS Youth Excellence Program has produced, to date, two AEI Interns, one Eagle Scout, six Heritage Foundation Interns, one Hudson Institute Intern, one Rhodes Scholar, two Samsung Electronics Corporation Interns, one US Congressional Arts Awardee, two US Congressional Interns, and six White House interns and five law students, five medical students, two assistant professors and one professor among other aspiring students.

Ryan immigrated to the United States at the age of twelve with his family and settled in Ambler, Pennsylvania. He attended Upper Dublin High School and graduated summa cum laude from Montgomery County Community College' 20 (MC3) with an Associate Science Degree in Business Administration.

Ryan is the sixth ICAS Intern - Hae Jo Chae, Henry Choi, Jin Pyuo Lee, Ha Young Yoo and David Lee - who earned the coveted Internship opportunity with The Heritage Foundation.

He is currently an ICAS Intern-in-training while serving a role of ICAS Special Assistant.
