Dear Friend: We are pleased to share with you that Hee Jae Jeong has been appointed ICAS Intern (www.icasinc.org/interns.html), effective immediately. Born and raised in South Korea, Hee Jae Jeong moved to the United States in 2022 to pursue his undergraduate studies. He is currently a senior at Azusa Pacific University, double majoring in Honors Humanities and International Relations with a minor in Economics. A full-tuition scholarship recipient, Hee Jae is co-authoring a scholarly book on Frederick Douglass’s Narrative, examining the mechanisms that sustained slavery. He previously interned at the Citizens’ Alliance for North Korean Human Rights, conducting policy research on North Korea–Russia relations and preparing daily briefings on inter-Korean affairs. He plans to pursue graduate study in economics and ultimately serve in the public sector in South Korea, leveraging his analytical rigor and bilingual communication skills. Hee Jae is also a former junior national table tennis player and a longtime band leader. Thank you. |
