Shinae Hong

Shinae Hong, ICAS Intern, graduated from Kon Kuk Univeristy, Korea, earning her BA in German Literature. After graduation, Shinae spent two years as a humanitarian agent volunteering in Saipan, Sri-Lanka, Malaysia, and Japan. Most recently, she received her MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and the School of International Service, Washington D.C. Her thesis is "State Collapse and the North Korean Regime: Analysis of State Failure in North Korea".

Shinae is currently serving as a member of the Committee of Global Coalition for Korean War Reconciliation.
