Biographic Sketch

Kyong Soo Lho, ICAS FELLOW, is Professor of International Politics and Dean of the Office of International Affairs, Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. In addition, he has been an instructor of the Korean Military Academy, on the Foreign and Security Policy Staff, Presidential Secretariat, Chong Wa Dae and a research fellow at the Center for International Security and Arms and Control and the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Kyong Soo was acting Assistant Professor of History at Stanford University from 1992-93. He is also a member of Advisory Councils to the National Security Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Ministry of National Defense. Kyong Soo was educated at Harvard University and Oxford University and contributes to numerous newspapers, journals and books including One Korea? Challenges and Prospects for Reunification (Hoover Press 1994) and Northeast Asian Toward 2000: Interdependence and Conflict (Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft 1999).
