Choon Ki Yoo



Choon Ki Yoo immigrated to the United States at the age of sixteen. After graduating from a high school, he entered the automotive industry while attending a technical institute, where he graduated with honors and further developed his professional expertise.

Throughout his career Choon Ki earned Master Technician certifications in multiple areas of automotive repair and maintenance. In 1991, he established his own automotive business, operating a full-service repair shop specializing in computer diagnostics, mechanical repairs, bodywork, and automotive painting. Choon Ki successfully managed the business until his retirement.

Since 2000 Choon Ki has devoted himself to serving the Institute for Corean-American Studies (ICAS) and the Council for America My Country (CAMC). Over the years, he has served in numerous leadership and service roles, including Director of ICAS, Assistant Vice President for Regional Affairs at ICAS, Grand Marshal of the ICAS Liberty Golf Classic Invitational, Distinguished Member of the ICAS Delegation (ICAS Delegations) to Korea, Deputy Director for Outreach at CAMC, and Member of the CAMC Board of Directors.

Choon Ki is now retired and blessed with his wife and three grownup children. He continues to support the missions of ICAS and CAMC through his longstanding commitment to public service within the Korean American community and beyond.
