Britton Chance Award for Excellence
Endowed




Dear Friend:

We are pleased to share with you that ICAS has established the endowed Britton Chance Award for Excellence.

The Britton Chance Award will recognize those young people who demonstrate achievements with high distinction in varied areas including academic performance, community service, leadership roles, public affairs, scientific research and volunteering and the Awardee will receive a prize money and certificate as part of the ICAS Youth Excellence Fellowship Award at an annual "ICAS Summer Symposium: The Korean Diaspora". The Award ceremony this year will take place on August 4, 2007 in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

Professor Britton Chance Britton Chance is Eldridge Reeves Johnson University Professor Emeritus of Biophysics, Physical Chemistry, and Radiologic Physics, University of Pennsylvania, and ICAS Distinguished Fellow. He also is a recipient of ICAS Liberty Award.

The Britton Chance Award for Excellence will make the sixth endowed Award to the current list of the ICAS Youth Excellence Fellowship Award.
