We are pleased to share with you that a Presidential Delegation of Korea will visit Philadelphia on October 5, 2016.

The Delegation led by Ambassador Chong Wook Chung, ICAS Fellow, will include the following members:

Chong Wook and his team of Delegation will make a courtesy call (11:30 AM) to Mayor Jim Kenney of City of Philadelphia

. He will then deliver a luncheon remarks* at the International Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association - America's first chartered metropolitan bar association - and the occasion (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) will be held at the law firm of Pepper Hamilton LLP.

*A Changing Security Architecture in the Northeast Asia and the US-Korea Alliance in the Next US Administration

The Delegation will also visit the University of Pennsylvania where it will discuss with students and faculty - to be held, 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM, at Perry World House on Locust Walk - on the current Korean Peninsula Issues.

Chong Wook is a member of Presidential National Security Advisory Group. President Geun Hye Park is Chairman of the PCUP.

He was a featured speaker at the ICAS 2011 Spring Symposium (chaired by Synja Kim) and addressed before the ICAS audience on China's Foreign Policy under New Leadership: its Implications on the Korean Peninsula and Washington.
