We are pleased to share with you that C-SPAN covered live the proceedings in its entirety of the ICAS Winter Symposium which was held yesterday in Washington, DC.

Speakers were Weilin Kuang (Minister Counselor and Head of Political Section, Embassy of China; China's Development and its Role in the World: Challenges and Outlook), Tong Kim (ICAS Fellow; Adjunct Professor, SAIS Johns Hopkins University; The Nort Korea's Nukes and Missiles Issues:US Foreign Policy Challenges and Oppontunity) and Jay P Lefkowitz (Litigation Partner, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, New York; former Ambassador and Special Envoy on Human Rights in North Korea, US State Department; North Korean Human Rights Issues: Hear Ye! Hear Ye!). Discussants included William Connery (Editor, Asia Pacific Peace Institute) and Michael Marshall (Editor-in-Chief, UPI).

C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company, created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a public service. Our mission is to provide public access to the political process.
